Our comprehensive programme, thoughtfully tailored for children aged 2 to 5 years old, is conducted in both Afrikaans and English. We achieve this through fun, structured, and age-appropriate activities right here in Panorama, ensuring every child gains the competence and self-assurance required for a bright, successful start to formal schooling.

The Skills Studio was co-founded by Teacher Lumé and Teacher Leandra, two passionate educators and devoted moms who turned their shared love for early childhood learning into this comprehensive programme.
Teacher Lumé is the visionary co-founder of the Skills Studio. As a former teacher and a devoted mom, her passion for seeing young children thrive led her to create this unique skills development programme. Inspired by her personal journey, Lumé’s focus is on building a warm, Christian-based environment where confidence blossoms and pre-schoolers are empowered to explore freely and develop crucial early skills through meaningful, hands-on play.
Teacher Leandra co-founded the Skills Studio, bringing her wealth of experience as a qualified educator and devoted mother of two. Her deep understanding of early childhood development ensures our curriculum is both nurturing and highly effective. Known for her exceptional patience and attentive approach, Leandra is dedicated to guiding every child individually, ensuring they feel encouraged and supported as they grow and achieve key developmental milestones in preparation for school.
Our comprehensive half-day program, running daily from 8:00-12:00, is meticulously designed to foster well-rounded growth, ensuring your child is fully prepared, socially, cognitively, and physically, for their transition to school. We structure every session around three core pillars of development:
Get ready to unlock brainpower! This is where we turn learning into a game. We tackle early math and language skills, offer bilingual fun (Afrikaans/English), and conquer core concepts like shapes and colours. Additionally, we facilitate tiny scientists to get hands-on with science experiments to spark curiosity!
Ready for friendship skills? We develop great social habits using captivating songs, rhymes, and story time to grow big vocabularies. Our studio is built on Christian values, gently guiding kindness, sharing, and respect. Don’t forget the optional extra-curricular activities for even more fun!
We focus on getting hands and feet ready for school by practicing both fine and gross motor skills and overall physical body development. Imagination station is open with engaging arts & crafts, and practical skills are gained via make & bake sessions. All of this fun is supported by integrated sensory exploration.
